![]() ![]() Wishing you and your families a very Happy Thanksgiving. Kindness is everywhere if we take the time to look for it. In a world where kindness is sometimes hard to see, and we are all moving at a rapid pace…I am most grateful for the many people, like Harold Jeffries, from Marksmen Security Co for showcasing an act of kindness that truly made me feel most grateful this holiday season. I am sure with his commute, it was an extra hour of his time (on a dark, cold, and rainy Georgia night). ![]() He so kindly spent 20 minutes putting air in my tire. I am sure he had places to be, and he had just gotten off work and lived in the opposite direction. Squatting to put air in your tire is a marathon! The best-paying job in Indiana at Marksman Security is regional office manager, which pays an average of 45,301 annually. Marksman Security Indiana based pay is lower than Marksman Securitys United States average salary of 30,326. As someone who is 7 months pregnant…bending down just to put your shoes on is exercise. Marksman Security salaries range between 21,000 to 35,000 per year in Indiana. When I stop to get out at the air pump, I realized (unknowingly and unasked) that he had followed me to help me put air in my tire. I get on the interstate and drive 10 miles to the nearest gas station (going about 25 miles per hour). Now, if you know John Lineweaver, Lee Cochran, and Greg Sanders…then you know this type of top-notch service from our security team is always there, but the next part of this story is truly unmatched and why I am most grateful for the character of our teams at Meta. I thanked him and wished him and his family a Happy Thanksgiving. He told me to drive slow on the right side and put air in the tire from the closest gas station. Luckily they are “no flat” tires, but I stopped before I left our security gate and our security officer, Harold Jeffries, helped me look at it and made sure all was okay. On my way out of the data center, my loaner car from the dealership had a flat tire. It was dark, and I slowly wobbled (7 months pregnant over here!) to my car for my one hour commute home. Last night, I left my office after hours. Katie Comer Happy Thanksgiving, and please accept our well wishes on these last months of your pregnancy!Ī quick kindness appreciation post to kick off my favorite holiday week of the year…□ Lee Cochran, Greg Sanders, John Lineweaver, thank you for providing William Bowen and our Marksman team a workplace culture where they feel like part of the team, where they feel compelled to protect those who they value beyond the boundaries of both perimeter fences and time clocks. His personal ethics and moral compass are clearly laudable by any measure.Īll of that being said I believe the desire to serve comes not from a paycheck, but rather relationships and respect. Jefferies exhibited traits our organization values and promotes. I told Greg Sanders the same this morning when we connected on this heartwarming act. ![]() We value our officers and client partners greatly and to hear of another example where one takes such good care of another, and at this time of the year no less!įor me there is something to the notion of you get what give. Katie Comer, thank you for taking the time to callout Ofc. ![]()
